Sure it's been out for weeks in the USA, but the release date isn't even solidified for our friends north of the border. This didn't stop Five-Hole's Joe Dirt from making a run for the border where he enjoyed a Taco Bell Grande, oh, and picked up a copy of Rock Band as well. Video of the Canadian Debut is a click away.

Awesome special effects man!!!
Drums are gonna be a bitch to pick up for anyone (ie - you) that doesn't have any drumming experience. Moving you foot separately from your arms is a lot tougher than people thing. I've got a bit of drumming experience so I could probably jump into medium without too much of a problem...maybe hard. Good luck!

Yeah, the foot pedal is the hardest part. Yeah, it sounds tappy, but I bought some mouse pads and layed them on top which cuts the sound in half and with the music loud enough, its hardly noticable. Today I played some more with headphones, and if you're playin' solo, it's the way to go....crank it up to 11.

Joe,
I have to tell you... I was watching your attempt at playing the drums...
My daughter walks up behind me and asks... "Is that one of your bands daddy?"
I ROFLOL'd and then when I could gain my composure, I said "No sweetie, this is one of daddy's buddies pretnding to be a drummer..."
She says" Ohhhh... He doesn't sound too good. And how can he play when he dropped the sticks?"
I am rolling at this point and my wife comes down and asks what we are doing...
I turned you off at that point. Then my daughter rats you out to my wife and says "<hand on hips> sheesh, it was just one of daddy's friends practicing his music on the computer...<hair flip, walk away>"
I just want to thank you for the entertaining 10 minutes last night!
BTW, I loved the unboxing sped up video... that was kinda cool!

I want these drums REALLY bad, but I only get to play when the kids are sleeping, and I'd wake them up REAL fast with the tappity tap tap tap. Plus, my wife just got me back, i'm sure she'd hate to already have to cut my nuts of for buying this monster.
